I have a stall in Chelmsford Cathedral grounds on

Saturday 4 December from 9.30-15.00.

I will be selling my fused glass there.

I have been making both transparent and opal stars. They are about 8.5×8.5cm and each has a green or red twine to hang them by.

I have continued to make snowmen as they are selling really well at The Art Place at the Meadow shopping Centre in Chelmsford where I am selling all my Christmas Tree Ornaments for £3.50 each. If you want to buy direct from me just email via the Contact me page.

I have also been making Christmas trees, robins and pengiuns.

It’s the time of year to prepare for Christmas. So I have begun to make some Christmas tree ornaments.

Last year I made Christmas trees, robins and penguins. I plan to make all of them again this year but I am also adding some new designs. I have just fired my first snowmen, candles and colourful parcels. So far I have made parcels in red, Egyptian blue, petal pink, marigold yellow and olive green. The snowmen have a range of different coloured hats and scarves.

Yesterday I cut out some beautiful transparent glass in a range of colours that I will use to make stars.

I was given some dichroic glass for my birthday and have been trying my hand at making pendants and earrings. The shimmering colours in this type of glass are perfect for jewellery.

I also have table space at The Art Place in the Meadows shopping centre in Chelmsford.

I have just finished making this lampshade for a friend. She wanted a design of flowers and leaves around the base of the lampshade. She chose a poppy, sunflower, daisy and daffodil.

Here it is on a small white marble lamp base.

I was given some copper bee decals as a present and have finally incorporated them into some glass pieces. I liked the idea of using them on honeycomb or flowers.

Success with my next three vases. They are 10cm high and I love the way the glass stretches down the stem of the vase.

 

I made my first drop vase recently.

 

A bit wonky but the way the colours swirl in the stem is lovely.
